FHA-HoReCa 2020 cancelled, to resume in 2022

Following close consultation with the industry, Informa Markets has cancelled the 2020 edition of FHA-HoReCa due to the COVID-19 situation. The event is due to take place between 13 – 16 July 2020 at the Singapore EXPO & MAX Atria. The next edition of FHA-HoReCa is on the 10-13 May 2022 at the same venue.
FHA-HoReCa is an expansion from one of Asia’s longest-running food and hospitality biennial trade event in the region, Food&HotelAsia (FHA). FHA-HoReCa plans to bring the latest foodservice & hospitality equipment, products and services across five key profiles – Bakery, Pastry & Gelato; Foodservice & Hospitality Equipment; Hospitality Style; Hospitality Technology; and Speciality Coffee & Tea – serving discerning distributors, importers, manufacturers and retailers from Asia, all under one roof in 2022.
Martyn Cox, event director, Hospitality, Food & Beverage - Singapore, Informa Markets, said the decision to cancel was a tough one to make. But without suitable tenancy availability, this is very much the right decision for their customers.
He added: “We will take this extra time to develop the next edition of FHA-HoReCa into one that will more than make up for its absence this year."
During this period, Informa is also working closely with key partners to create alternative ways for the global community to get together and still connect.
"We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding, and we look forward to catching up with everyone in-person at FHA-HoReCa 2022," Cox said.
Meanwhile, FHA-HoReCa’s sister show, FHA-Food & Beverage, will be held from 2-5 March 2021 at the Singapore Expo as planned.
