US fried chicken franchise Texas Chicken unveiled its new ‘Blaze’ global brand image and one of the first to go ‘Blaze’ is the company’s soon to open branch in Bandung, Indonesia.
This new branch is part of a much larger franchise development deal that will bring 80 more Texas Chicken restaurants to Indonesia over the next 10 years — mainly in Jakarta, West Java, Banten, Lampung, South Sumatera, and Bengkulu provinces, said the company.
"This has been an exciting opportunity to introduce a new audience to an ever-evolving brand like Texas Chicken which is known and respected for its quality and superior guest experience," says Daniel Harris Ishak, country head for PT Quick Service Restaurant. "We're looking forward to bringing the people of Bandung face-to-face with the fresh taste and unforgettable flavour of one of the world's top fried chicken brands, and to enjoy a variety of our new international menu items for the first time in this area.”
PT Quick Service Restaurant, which is an affiliate of the Texas Chicken franchisee in Malaysia, Envictus International Holdings Limited (EIH), is the official franchisee of record for the new restaurant.
"We are eager and excited to share the new look of Texas Chicken with the world," said Tony Moralejo, executive vice-president of International Business for Texas Chicken/Church's Chicken. "PT QSR is an extension of one of our most proven franchisees – which made them an excellent choice for piloting this new design. We look forward to bringing our quality food and authentic flavours to our guests in ways that are fresh and engaging."
